Our story at MC Maintenance

The journey begins with passion

From a very young age, Marcus, the founder of MC Maintenance, harboured a deep passion for mechanics. His journey started in his grandfather's large garage, where he honed his skills by helping friends and family. It was here that his dream of owning his own garage, dedicated to providing a personal and professional service, truly took root.

Experience that drives quality

Throughout his career, Marcus has gained invaluable experience working within the motor trade since he left school, completing his apprenticeship within a independent garage, becoming a qualified MOT tester and working at a Volkswagen main dealership  also becoming a maintenance engineer working with heavy plant equipment for a number of years. With having skills within and motor trade and mechanical engineering it has enabled him to open his own Motor Vehicle garage and undertake any issue that comes through the door  and and to carry the work at a very high standard.

Heybridge Works Lower Tean History

The engineering and mechanics continues...........

Heybridge Works, located in the Lower Tean, has a rich history intertwined with the Phillips and Bentall families. The area was originally known for its textile industry, with  the Phillips family being part of the J. & N. Phillips textile business. The Heybridge estate, bought by Samuel Philips in 1813, was a significant part of this history. The estate  was extended and became a family home, with notable figures like Florence Nightingale visiting the property. The area also saw the establishment of E. H. Bentall & Co., a  manufacturer of agricultural equipment, which played a crucial role in the local economy. The company's success was marked by the invention of the Goldhanger plough  and the development of engines for agricultural machinery.

"MC Maintenance provides outstanding service. Marcus went above and beyond, exceeding all expectations."
